The Soleil le Terminus is a hotel with Beaux Arts fa�ade, built in 1913 and set in the centre of Carcassonne, 50 metres from the Canal du Midi. This four floor hotel features 100 guestrooms, all of which have traditional chalet style decor with pine cladding. Modern amenities include direct dial phones, hair dryers, and televisions.
Guests can enjoy a drink and a game of billiards in the lounge bar. For a surcharge, guests can unwind with a workout in the gym, followed by a dip in the pool and a steam in the sauna. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide information on local sightseeing hotspots and conference rooms are available for the use of business guests. La Brasserie offers an a la carte menu, including specialities such as Cassoulet Gratin� de Carcassonne and Foie Gras, and serves up buffet dishes in a relaxed chalet style atmosphere. The Canal du Midi, 50 metres away, leads into the medieval centre of the city just 800 metres away. The hotel is five kilometres from Carcassonne Airport, around 10 minutes by car.
