The Parkhotel Dessau is a two storey modern hotel set off the A9 motorway between the famous Bauhaus and the Woerlitz Garden area, eight kilometres from the centre of Dessau. The 101 modern guestrooms are decorated in soft shades of apricot and peach, include satellite television with radio channels, telephones, desks, minibars and bathrooms with showers and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can wake up to a buffet breakfast each morning (fees may apply) and then unwind in the sauna or work on their tan in the solarium. Diners can sample regional and international dishes, accompanied by a selection of South African wines, in the restaurant, and during fine weather guests can relax over drinks in the beer garden. Guests with business needs can make use of four meeting rooms able to accommodate between five and 50 people. All rooms have natural daylight and modern conference technology. Guests arriving by car will find complimentary parking facilities on site. Just 300 metres from the hotel is a bathing lake, Adria, where guests can swim and sunbathe on the sand banks. The famous Bauhaus school of design is nine kilometres away, and the former apartments of Kandinsky, Klee and Muche are at the Masters' Houses, 13 kilometres from the hotel. Leipzig Airport is 57 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taxi, which should cost approximately 60 EUR. The nearest train station is Dessau Hbf, eight kilometres away. Guests can take two trains from the airport to Dessau. A car would be the most useful way of exploring the surrounding countryside.
Driving directions: From the airport, take Motorway A9 from Leipzig in the direction of Berlin and leave at exit 10, following signs for Dessau Ost. Turn right in the direction of Oranienbaum. After approximately 400 metres, turn right into Sonnenallee. The hotel entrance is 300 metres on the right.
