Location. Built in 2005, the Quality Hotel Dublin City is sited 50 metres from the river on the edge of the harbour's new cultural and residential district and within two kilometres of the city centre and lively Temple Bar area. Dublin International Airport (DUB) is 12 kilometres away, 45 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas, and the lobby features a high speed terminal (surcharge).
Lannigans is an informal restaurant with white oak tables, tartan fabrics, and wooden booths with cushioned leather seating, and serves traditional Irish dishes and international modern bistro fare. Named after a U2 song, the ultra modern Vertigo bar draws inspiration from Japanese decor and serves East meets West bento boxes.
Club Vitae's health facilities include more than 60 pieces of cardio equipment with individual TV screens, weights and resistance machines, a 22 metre pool and a kids' splash pool, a sauna and a steam room. Guests can take part in spinning and cardio kickboxing classes in the studio, and pamper themselves with a facial or massage in the treatment rooms. Entry is complimentary for guests.
Guestrooms. The Quality Hotel Dublin City has eight floors and 211 guestrooms, all of which feature light decor with chocolate, cappuccino and burgundy touches, and colour coordinated abstract prints by local artists. All guestrooms offer TV Internet access and cable channels, high speed Internet ports, and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms feature white wall tiles, slate grey flooring, Italian marble counter tops and chrome fittings, and are equipped with power shower/tub combinations, and Dove and Lux toiletries.
Expert Tip. The local area has become a pilgrimage site for U2 fans. The band played some of their earliest gigs at the Waterfront Rock Caf� and currently record at Hanover Studios, both within 500 metres. Windmill Lane, 200 metres away, is the site of the 'U2 Wall', which is covered with graffiti by fans.

The Aircoach service runs from the airport to O'Connell Street every 15 minutes. A return fare costs EUR 12. Taxis are also available at the airport; typical fares should be approx. EUR 25 depending on traffic conditions and the amount of luggage. All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow N1 to the city centre via Drumcondra. Exit at Gardiner Street/Parnell Square in the direction of the city centre. Follow Gardiner Street for one kilometre to Customs House Quay. Turn left along Sir John Rogerson's Quay. Turn right at the Ferryman Pub/Cardiff Lane, and the hotel is on the right.
