Regular trains connect Galway to Dublin, and the journey time is three hours. The best way to explore the west coast scenery and the surrounding countryside is by car.

At the roundabout junction with N6, take the third exit onto the N6.
At roundabout, proceed ahead towards Galway City East.
At the roundabout junction with N17, take the first exit R336 (signposted city centre).
At the roundabout junction with N6 (East), take second exit.
You have reached Galway city centre.
