Location. The Hotel Costazzurra is a modern property situated in the seaside resort of San Leone, 350 metres from the sandy beach and three kilometres from the Valley of the Temples. Palermo Punta Raisi/Falcone Borsellino Airport 150 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 100 minutes.

Hotel Features.The hotel offers a room service menu available round the clock, and there is a spa tub and relaxation area and wireless Internet access throughout the property. Complimentary newspapers are offered in the lobby, while other practical amenities include a laundry service, safe deposit boxes and secure parking on site for those arriving by car.

Driving Directions

Getting there.A train service connects the airport with Palermo city centre every 20 60 minutes. A single ticket is 4.50 EUR. From Palermo guests can take a bus or train to Agrigento. Shuttle bus number 2 departs from the Agrigento train station every 30 minutes and stops right outside the hotel. Alternatively, taxis are available and the fare to Agrigento should cost around 100 EUR. All prices subject to change. A local bus service connects the seaside resort of San Leone with Agrigento and the Valley of Temples; the resort itself is compact and easily explored on foot or bicycle. The best way to see the Sicilian countryside is by car. Car rentals are available online.

Driving directions. From the airport take the A29 in the direction of Sciacca and Agrigento. Leave the A29 at the Castelvetrano exit and join the Contrada Strasatto. Leave this road and head onto Via Strada Statale. Enter Agrigento and follow the Strada Statale di Porto Empedocle for 1.5 kilometres. Turn right into Viale Emporium, then turn left into Via Gele, and right into Viale del Giardini. Turn left into Via delle Viole for the hotel.
