Location.Set in Romagna's hilly hinterland, the Grand Hotel Terme is an art deco property dating back to 1937, just 15 kilometres from the historic town of Ravenna and 40 kilometres from the Adriatic Riviera. Bologna Forli International Airport is 10 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features.Guests can unwind in the full service health spa, enjoy a drink by the poolside bar, relax in the sauna, and unwind with a coffee in the lobby. Children can be kept amused in the Kid's Club, while practical amenities include multilingual staff at the 24 front desk, room service, wedding services, event catering, airport transfers, currency exchange, and a concierge desk. There is also free parking for those arriving by car.
The Grand Hotel Terme Restaurant has a formal dining ambience featuring regional dishes, low calorie selections and a children's menu, and the Optium restaurant serves a menu of low calorie specialties in an informal atmosphere with direct access from the beauty center.
Guestrooms. The hotel offers 119 air conditioned guestrooms located on four floors, all of which feature art deco decor with carpeted floors and patterned fabrics. All include cable television with pay movies, minibars, safes, direct dial phones and wireless Internet access. Bathrooms have bidets, hair dryers, make up mirrors, and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The birthplace and childhood home of Benito Mussolini, the fascist dictator who ruled Italy from 1922 to the end of World War II, is located above the amphitheatre in Predappio, 15 kilometres from the hotel.

Getting there.Hotel staff can arrange airport transfers (surcharge) and taxis are available outside the terminal (15 EUR). The ATC Aerobus runs every 15 minutes to the city centre (4.50 EUR, takes 20 minutes). Rental cars are convenient for guests wishing to explore surrounding areas, or trains and buses run to various cities and towns.
Driving directions. From the airport take Via Emilia for Forli Centro to Viale Roma (SS9), direction Castrocaro. Just after the bridge turn left and the hotel is located next to the spa center.
