Location. Located on the Mayan Riviera, the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort and Spa All Inclusive delivers sun drenched amenities in tropical Kantenah, Mexico. Approximately 32 kilometers from Playa del Carmen, the resort is 30 kilometers from Tulum. The property stands 95 kilometers from Cancun and the Cancun International Airport.
Surrounded by verdant flora, the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort and Spa All Inclusive is set on a large swath of oceanfront. Comprised of many small buildings, the resort shares numerous facilities with its partner properties, the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa All Inclusive, the Grand Palladium Colonial Resort and Spa All Inclusive and the Grand Paladium Kantenah Resort All Inclusive. Recreational amenities abound, from tennis courts to a kids' playground to discos. This family friendly property offers children's programs and activities. At the Sports Center and Spa, cardiovascular machines share space with sauna rooms. On the dining front, the hotel features a wealth of choices, from Japanese fare and steaks to Italian and barbecue.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort and Spa All Inclusive are set in lakeside bungalows. The contemporary rooms boast air conditioning, satellite television, safes and sofa beds.
Expert Tip. Between the two most dramatic structures at the ruins of Tulum, near the Castle and the Temple of the Wind, lies Tulum Cove. A small inlet with a beach of fine, white sand, it was a point of departure for Maya trading vessels in ancient times. Today it's a playground for tourists, and one can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Effective August 25, 2007, the Palladium hotels are undergoing clean up efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Dean. The following areas are temporarily closed:
- The beach section in front of the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa. The rest of the beach remains open.
- Punta Emilia Snack Bar
- Water sports that are operated by Scuba Caribe
- Pool and "Las Rocas" bar
