A family run working farm, Bjornefjorden Gjestetun was formerly a monastery dating back to 1146. It is located one kilometre from the beach, 28 kilometres from Bergen. The 40 guestrooms are decorated in a typical Norwegian style with wooden beams. Rooms feature direct dial phones, hair dryers and kitchenettes.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the Bj�rnefjorden Restaurant serves a fusion of regional and European cuisine in rustic surroundings. Guests can plan sightseeing itineraries using the high speed Internet, relax over drinks in the bar, and practise their handicap on the nine hole golf course. The airport bus operates three times a day (10.05, 17.10 and 19.10) Monday to Friday. Taxis can be found outside the main terminal; approximate fare 500 NEK.
From the Airport take the E 39 toward Stavanger. At the roundabout in Os take the 552 to Hatvik. The hotel is 1 kilometre on the right.
