The New Town Apartments are housed in a modern development located in Edinburgh city centre, one mile from Princes Street and 1.5 miles from Edinburgh Castle. The 22 light, open plan apartments feature wooden floors and modern furniture with clean lines. All are equipped with televisions, DVD players, wireles Internet, clock radios and kitchens with coffee/tea makers, microwaves and refrigerators. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, makeup mirrors complimentary toiletries.
The concierge can make restaurant reservations, book tickets for events and tours, and advise on local sightseeing opportunities. Guests can check their e mails or surf the web via complimentary Internet access. Other amenities include express check in/out, laundry facilities, a video library and babysitting services. Visitors can enjoy a stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens, 500 metres away, browse the shops on Princes Street, one mile away, or visit Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Yacht Britannia, both of which are within 1.5 miles. Edinburgh Airport is eight miles away, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Please Note:
Check in and key collection can be made at 6 Queen Street after 3 p.m. daily. This is the only location of the office and the only place to pick up keys and directions to apartments. Guests planning to arrive after 10 p.m., should contact the hotel prior to arrival to arrange check in and key collection.

Bus no.100 runs from the airport to Waverley Train Station. Buses depart every 15 minutes and take approximately 30 minutes. Taxis are also available from a taxi rank adjacent to the terminal and cost 20 EUR to the hotel. An Airsaver ticket covers a single fare, plus same day unlimited travel on Lothian buses upon arrival in the city. Taxis can be hailed in the street. The centre of Edinburgh is best explored on foot.
