Location. The Norfolk Arms Hotel is located in the Yorkshire village of Ringinglow, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It lies six miles from the centre of the city of Sheffield, England.
Hotel Features. This two storey hotel is housed in a listed building, a coaching inn from around 1805, built in local stone with unusual castellated detailing. Complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby. Dry cleaning and laundry facilities are available, as is room service. There is complimentary parking.
The Mayfield Restaurant serves British specialities and continental dishes in a traditional setting with an open fireplace. The Burbage Bar features stone flags on the floor and a timber ceiling, and serves a choice of authentic English ales. A complimentary full English or continental breakfast is provided.
Events for up to 50 people can be accommodated with the hotel's meeting facilities.
The hotel's location on the edge of the Peak District National Park means that there are excellent opportunities for hiking and mountain biking.
Guestrooms. The 14 guestrooms have light decor and simple furnishings. All are equipped with high speed Internet connections, televisions, direct dial phones, and coffee/tea makers. Rooms include complimentary bottled water, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. The home of the bakewell tart is the town of Bakewell, located 10 miles from the hotel in Ringinglow Village. The delicious tart is topped with almonds and strawberry jam.
